About Us

Malaysia’s new economic model which was launched in 2010 depends on the government’s ability to prepare high-income technologists, industrialists, and entrepreneurs to fulfill the skilled manpower requirement of the country. Hence, the role of technical and vocational education and training becomes more paramount in the years ahead. In line with the government’s aspiration, the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education was established in June 2010 to produce graduates who are knowledgeable and skilled in technical and vocational education. They will become secondary school teachers or trainers in polytechnics or any relevant institutions in the respective industry either in the public or private sector.
